Would really have liked to have met Mark, from reading his posts here on PY he really seemed like a great guy.

Hoping he didn't suffer long, cancer took my wife of 30 years from me a little over two years ago. Seeing her in pain for nearly a year and knowing there was little I could for her was difficult.

May God bless you and your family Marcia and give you the strength to get through this.

Bart

I had read Mark's telling of this just after it was posted, but there wasn't a thing I could write that could make him better or anyone feel less shocked as I still am. And upon seeing it as a Stickie today I'm still without coherent words to write. This is so sad and sadder still that it happened so fast.

My condolences to Mark's family and friends. May he be in everyone's hearts for all eternity as he stands next to God himself.... for all eternity.

This latest rash of Cancer victims and deaths reminds me of the good that can and does come out of some people's misfortune. When you all read (or participate) in some of the threads where members are going at each other for whatever reason, doesn't it all seem so 'small' and petty?

I recently noticed a distinct reduction in the arguing, finger pointing and general lack of patience that normally exists on PY. And rightfully so. We're a relatively small group all participating here for basically the same reason. Too small a group to be divided by peripheral views on subjects unrelated to the reason why we came here in the first place.

Let's use these unfortunate circumstances as a reminder to put things in perspective here on PY.

65mark, thanks for your contributions. RIP

Would a memorial section for members that have passed be a good addition to PY? Then those of us left could go and reflect on who we've lost... and say a little prayer for them. No replies but just a list of who we lost.

Good, I'm glad I'm not alone in this thought.

I'm looking for a picture of Mark for the new memorial page we are putting together.
So, if you have a picture of Mark, please post it.

Thanks
Steve
