Struggling with comprehending the short term of this whole thing.

I watched his pofile to see his log in times. It's showed he did log in a couple of times after the start of this thread. What I really hope is that he may have found comfort from comments in this thread in his final days.

Rest in peace Mark. Prayers to your family.

...is the only saving grace. If I were to choose to die over the course of years enduring the physical & emotional pain that some here have gone through or go in a matter of days, I'd choose the later.

Peace to Mark, his family & friends.

All - This is his middle child Marcia. Thank you for all of your kind words. When he found out two weeks ago he asked me to bring him his laptop so that he could say his goodbyes to his friends on this forum. I know it gave him great pleasure to help as many people as he could while he was here. For those that did not know he left behind a wife, three daughters and six grandchildren. We all loved him very much and miss him, but at ease to know that he is no longer suffering. He had come down with the flu at the beginning of the year and never got over it before it could turn into pneumonia. Again thank you for all of your kind words.

Thank you for posting, Marcia. He had more friends on here than you would suspect, many of whom he had never met.
