Default reverb and rear defrost

Anyone have a picture of where the wires go on the right hand floor board for the reverb and rear defrost units? None of the books we have show the routing and a search turned up nothing.

Thanks!

No pics but from I recall it's about the RH 1/3rd of the passenger side seat.

Thanks Bob, does the defroster wire go on the right side too or along the ribbon cable?

Defroster runs on right side. There's a stamped steel harness protector that goes under the rear seat. I think its reproduced now.

Here's where the protector goes under the right rear seat. The harness follows those grooves in the floor forward under the right front seat.

Couldn't find it in the PY catalog. Ames has it.

I looked in both catalogs and couldn't find it but my Ames catalog is an older one. I'll look online. Thanks!

You will also find several applications of black tape, securing the wires to the floor. The tape was 2 in. wide, in various lengths. The speaker wire may also have been secured by a small clip, using a cad plated screw. The clip was secured to the floor (rear foot rest area) just to the left of the main indented channel referred to in earlier posts. If you have a hole in your original floor pan, this would be for this clip. Power cable (wire) required the use of the protective Floor Pan Wire Protector Cover (Cover - Group No. 12.980). If you have only a speaker wire running to the rear of the car, you do not require the cover, but only the clip.

Thanks Jake. We have the protector now and we are also using the black tape, although I didn't know the factory used the tape but it make sense. Carpet shoud be going in next week, followed by the seats. Getting closer every day!
