Default Dash pads

Are 64 and 65 dash pads the same grain? I know they will fit but I can't remember if the grain is the same.
Thanks!

My recollection is that they are different. The terms Seville and Madrid come to mind regarding the grain pattern.
If you are not looking for a '64 pad and turn up a good one, please let me know.

I have a black 65 pad and thought about using it in the 64 we are doing, but not if it isn't correct.

Edit: I got the search to work, and found 64 is Seville and 65 is Madrid. Thanks for the help!

Andre knows all them Spanish words: Madrid, Seville. The rest of us folk call 64 rough, 65 smooth.

A member here already PM'd me about the pad a while back and I responded, but I haven't heard from him. I'll have to pull it and check it out to be sure it's a good one

I've got to get the time to pull it to see condition. I'm trying to get a 64 resto done.

Thanks!
Try and find to find an NOS/OEM pad that you can easily restore with a few cans if vinyl prep and SEM Color Coat - Satin Black
Try to stay away from afrermarket dash pads, they never seem to look right when installed
