Default 67 Hood emblem holes

Would someone measure the distance from the front peak to the holes for the emblem holes for me? Also the size of the holes. We have a 65 hood with no holes and need to drill them. 66 or 67 are the same. Thanks!

To the center of each hole, 2 & 1/2" and 5 & 3/4" from the peak. Did not measure the holes but about 3/16 or 1/4 wide, the rear hole oblong, slotted up and down from center measurement just slightly.

Welcome. In fact, 66 and 67 hoods had the inner layer of the hood punched out where the studs pass through, so that the nut tightens against the outer skin. I don't know if they planned ahead and provided that on the 65 hoods inner structure.

I'll have to double check but I think the hole on the inner structure is there.
