Thumbs up Sold! Thanks, PY . . .

WW5 car. I actually had a long-time friend of mine here in town call me yesterday and he wants to discuss it with me tomorrow.

Many of you know the car, and I'd like some opinions on what I should ask, and what I should accept for the car.

It's a nicely done father-and-son resto, which was completed in the mid 90's. The body work, paint and interior are VERY nice. It won it's class at the 2005 DAPA PSN car show in Dallas, just after I bought the car. One of my employees drove the car to Dallas and back with no issues.

The car does NOT have the original block, distributor, carburetor or transmission. Heads, intake, rear axle are original, and the carburetor is a correct '72 455HO service replacement. The ORIGINAL Firestone G60 Wide Oval spare is in the trunk. I'm selling it with the Honeycombs and radials which were on my Sundance car when I bought it. Wheels are nice, but incorrectly refinished. Tires are old, but in good shape. Recent tune-up, oil change, brake booster and master cylinder, starter and 2 ga. cables, etc. I do need to work on the carburetor to get a secondary bog taken care of.

I have LOTS of docs: PHS, original sales order, P-O-P, original window sticker, letters from PMD, pics before, during and after resto, etc. Sorry - no build sheet however.

Does anyone here have any interest?

Site is so messed up I can't attach any pics, will e-mail pics and docs upon request.

Thanks!

EDIT: Car is sold and being picked up by the new owner next week. Thanks all for looking!

Lloyd, don't do it.

You're going to regret it.

Follow-up...got the car home saturday and had a chance to take her for a spin. All I can say is, wow, talk about a torque monster!! This is my first HO and after driving this car, I'm not sure I'll own anything else...

Also, I just want to say thanks to Lloyd for the opportunity to get this car. I've been looking for an HO car and when his car became available and knowing who owned it, well, the rest is history...again, thanks.

I'll get pics posted soon...

Thumbs up

Hey Mike:

I'm glad the tow home went well, and I'm very glad that you're pleased with the car.

It was a pleasure meeting both yourself and your wife as well.

Y'all take care, and lemme know if you need anything or have any questions.

Good luck with the upcoming car show as well!
