Default If u could afford a supercar...what would it be?

I've always been partial to these GTs, even if they play for the other team

Yep, any of the GT40 to the modern GT models will do.

Daily driver ... Ferrari Roma. Not really a Super Car, but a very nice performance coupe for a night at the Opera

There's a local man who has a Ferrari 250 swb (short wheelbase) that I lust after every time I see it. He does get it out and drive it on the street occasionally.

A 62-63 Ferrari GTO. Or the Ferrari from Ferris Bueller. Pretty much anything from the 60s to 90s with any kind of GT race history.

I have an early 2000s 911, which is high end, but I wouldnt call it a supercar.

In my search for that car I discovered that there are quite a few cars that cost well over 100K new are quite affordable. Its just a matter of "If this breaks can I afford to fix it" In many cases the answer for me was NO.

Definitely a Monteverdi or a Bizzarini. A Ferrari 330GT 2+2 series two would be nice as well.

oh yes the original GT....Ferris Bueller lolz

The wife's boss made her get the GTR serviced a couple years ago and she got me to drive it.

Holy crap fast. My phone flew from the console to the back seat just flipping thru the paddle shifter.

Gives me aspiration for my dear pontipig for sure.

A 73 SD obviously as well but that doesn't count...

Here is a prime example of being able to afford a rare Ferrari. The buyer paid a world record price for a non-race Ferrari when a customer of mine put this car up for auction in 2013. All of the proceeds went into his charity organization to be distributed.
I can't think of anyone local who gives to his community like this man does.

As a transporter of high end cars, I have had the pleasure of driving & transporting dozens of "super cars" ! , but I also fell in love with this same car as a child of the 60's!!!

Funny about questions like this, along with....If you won the lottery what would you buy/do. I would not do much differently. I love a bunch of different cars & my bucket list is large, but I love life just the way it is. The only car on my bucket list that wouldbe considered close to a super car is a 60's "E" type Jag.

I am happy to drive my close to super car status XLR-V, 2 seater, retractable hardtop supercharged roaster built on a Corvette chassis. Only $107K on 2007 when somebody else bought it new, but it does have the super car feeling!

God Bless
Bill

For a vintage supercar the Ford GT hands down. For a modern supercar, some version of a Porsche 911. The Carrera 4 GTS may be the one.
