What is the best electric fan for a 1978 TransAm? no room for mechanical This is for the Outlaw turbo car I'm working on.

For a 16" size I have a Spal extreme, that moves alot of air.

Ken,

A lot of guys are using the ones from a Lincoln Mark VIII. Apparently the thing is capable of almost 5000 cfm. There are posts about them on here and the pro-touring boards. They are also 2 speed. I've seen plenty on ebay in the $60-$100 range, but you usually need to make sure it has the wiring harness, and you'd need to buy a 70 amp relay. Can get one at any parts store though. I have yet to see an aftermarket fan that compares while doing my research.
