First of all I intend to completely replace the trunk floor. Second, I can not tell by pictures of the floor if it goes up underneath the back deck to the back wall of the rear seat. My question is because I am not able to remove the number 5 body bolt on both sides so I need to cut access to it, I want to make sure that the trunk floor replacement will cover this. Also, I am getting that Roto 2000 body/frame rotiessiere. If I do cut the trunk completely out, I'm thinking I won't be able to use the Roto until the new floor is put back in. Thoughts, coments?
Thanks

Keith66,
I just finished doing this a couple of months ago. The replacement panels I got for the trunk floor did not go all the way behind the seat. They went to the "axle hump". I also am using a rotisserie for my bodywork. BUT, once you take the trunk floor out the body is really unstable(at least mine was). We opted to put the body on jackstands and work off the floor and creepers for this project. We were amazed at how much the trunk floor and the trunk extensions secured the rear section of the car. One thing that really helped us out in this task, was we took TONS of measurements. I think we did more measuring then welding. Although we might have not done it as somebody else would have, we got it done, and I think it looks pretty good. If you would like me send you some pictures of what we did, let me know and I can shoot you some.

Good Luck,
Josh

not the #5 mount, but I did have to cut the #6 mount bolt.(the one right behind the axle hump) I was able to get up to cut the bolt with a sawzall. Then once the body was actually off, i was able to get the bolt out.
Pictures are on the way.

Josh,

I need to do the whole trunk on my '67 also. Could you possibly send me your photos if it's not too much trouble? I'm no body man, but I want to learn and thought this would be a good place to start. My e-mail is jbbrooks@shaw.ca. Thanks,

Brian
