brad penn oil
Would there be any reasons to NOT run Brad Penn 30w break-in oil after engine break-in?

There is such a thing as too much ZDDP. I would run the regular, high ZDDP Brad Penn oil after break in.

I was looking on their site, I thought they sold a non-synthetic 5-30 or 30w but only see 30w in synthetic or syn-blend. I prefer not to use 40 or 50w.

the distributor i p/u my 10-30 and 10-40 from said the blend of synthetic is small. it's been working well in my original 350. no leaks and doesn't burn it. i was concerned about the syn part but seems to work well.
do u not want to run the blend?

Brad Penn
Have been using the BP Grade 1 synth-blend 15W40 for a while and have no complaints.
Really clings to rockers and flows nice. Good stable oil pressure and no leaks. May try a 10W30 in BP but happy with the 15W40. Just a little lifter tick when started in colder days(30 degrees) if not run everyday. Gerry
