Angry SCAM!!!!!....MAX PC SUPPORT....

When my computer was hacked last May I was referred to this place by a Google rep. They said they were MicroSoft approved certified techs..
They did straighen out my problems at that time..
I just had some more problems....they are non-exisistent now...GONE!
I susposibly had a two year service contract on all three of my devises..
I'm out a bunch of $$$$$...so beware!! Not sure I have any recourse??
Do not use them!!!
I'm done..

I'll call Geek Squad next..

I've had good luck using neighborhood computer experts (just google "computer repair") that work from their homes or small storefronts. I'd personally stay away from the Geek Squad due to their affiliation with Best Buy.

many issues can be resolved by having a good registry editor/cleaner, and virus protection.
just 2 programs to cleanup and speed up, and protect, about 50 bucks a year
most these repair guys do what I used to when working, have these programs on a stick, run them to fix your pc, and there you are till nex clog up, and no program to help yourself.

With geek squad, service quality can vary by location. But we have an offering called Tech Support that covers up to 3 devices for any and all software issues and includes antivirus to match the term length. Certain things like parts and data recovery service are not included, but it can be a great value for someone who does not want to or can't fix their own machine.

The pricing is as follows.
1 year is $200
2 is 280
3 is 350
It also includes remote service where if your pc boots up but just has mild issues, we can remote control your system and fix the issues.

I know this as I am the manager of a Geek Squad precinct. If you have a Best Buy near you, stop in for more info. The company has made major changes to our operating model in the past couple years to improve our pricing and customer service. And I can promise you, Best Buy won't vanish overnight.
