Will '68 headers fit on a '66
How much of a difference is there between a-body '68 headers and '66 headers?
Much mods needed or minor chopping? |

the d port cheapy headers 64-72 fit all pretty much the same, the round port headers like the super comps for 68 up doesnt fit the 66 worth the crap, mine hit the frame rails behind the front wheels and also the front crossmember, if you dont mind beating/cutting/welding tho they fit, i fit some on mine with a bfh but they still didnt leave much room for the motor to move side to side. the starter is a bch to put on with those headers to.
i think the over the crossmember headers would fit either year cars since theres alot more room for the tubes. thats what i ended putting on my 66 and why i als think that style would fit either car |
