Ok, I have been through all the history and many of the posts. I still have 1 or 2 questions. I would like to put 17's all the way around on my 71 Lemans w/stock suspension. I would like some wheel and tire sizes and BS. I saw a few Pics and really liked the way the w/w were filled up. Can a 265/50/17 or 265/45 fit in the rear.I whould like to go with the Torque Thrust wheel. Any help you guys can give will be apreciated. Pics would be great, "Help sell it to the little lady" Thanks Stu

You should be able to go with somethin like a 275/40/17 with 5.5 backspacing on the wheels and be ok in a 71. there are guys on the chevelle forums who have gone as high as 315's on 70-71 chevelles, and the Lemans and Chevelle wheel wells should be the same. My friend had 255/55/17's on the rear of a 71 Lemans and they fit w/ plenty! of room. 17's will be awesome on that 71!
