Can anyone tell me what type of clamp held the heater hose to the heater control valve on 70-72 cars w/ac? Also was there a bracket that held the control valve in place?

Thanks.

Ccass:
There is a bracket that holds the heater control valve on the '70 and the clamps on mine are the tower type. Can't say that the clamps are the same on all '70s. Mine is an early model built on 11/69 and does have some carryover '69 stuff in it.

Here is a picture of the bracket that holds the heater control valve. The clamps are not visible, but you can see the screw portion of the tower type clamp just behind the bracket.

TinInjun...Thanks. A picture IS worth a thousand words. I couldn't picture how it mounted. I knew there wasn't a bracket on the valve itself. Can anybody confirm the tower clamps on a 71? 72? thanks.
