I ordered JBP covers and had them in 2 days. Keep in mind, other than the China crap, there are only a few domestic sources actually doing the fabrication. Moroso and Jeff Johnstons are a few that come to mind. I would not be surprised if many sources are having them made here and adding CNC logos, polishing etc.

Mark's website is no longer active. Maybe he decided to stop taking new orders and is concentrating on completing the orders he received over the last year. Then again, maybe monkees will fly and wear funny hats like in the wizard of oz.

The welfare of my wife has come first before valve covers. I will try to have everyones shipped by next week. I promise. I will be calling everyone individually and not discuss this on a public forum.

I had to wait a long time also for a customers set of covers, but it was well worth it. These covers are hands down the best looking valve covers for a Pontiac I have come across. They put the Butler ones to shame. If you have the time wait for them.

( There was a guy on Ebay selling billet valve covers. I tried to buy the tool path info but he wanted a 1000 for that and he would include a set of covers, it was over 40 hours of machine time and then the polishing.)

I can't defend the business practices. I can agree the valve covers are the best on the market! My freinds bought me a set last year for Christmas. Polished with my company logo and an Indian head. Stunning! Those welded up covers from Butler may function the same, but trust me, they're not near the same quality!

I was told Ihad a message on my answering machine 2 weeks ago I asked "did he say he was finishing them up Ill have them in 2 weeks" she looked at me baffled and said " Yes how did you know?"
I never botherd to play it same **** diffrent day

My $.02. Being around race cars a lot, I personally prefer a TIG welded bead, rather than a polished weld. I like the look of fabricated stuff, valve covers, sheet metal intakes etc.

Example: I like the look of the precise weld on this intake.

Still waiting. He keeps saying that he's working on them but months keep going by and nothing.
