Yes. That's the biggest issue with Inline Tube, terrible customer service and condecending too. The other automobile plumbing companies know that Inline has a bad track record for customer service, so it's a no brainer for them to do better. Appearantly the folks at Inline haven't caught on that the customer service is very important, I doubt they ever will.

You're exactly right.......that they'll never catch on is key. I sent them an email last week with a link to this thread.......both to sales and customer service. You would think that after alerting them as to their reputation I would have at the least gotten a response or an acknowledgement......but that would have been an typical response from a compnay that gives a rat'sass about their rep.

I would like to see that response if you ever got one, but I wouldn't hold my breath. They can't reply. To do so would only add fuel to the fire. You'd post their response, we'd all get irrate and chime in...it'd be ugly. I say pi$$ on 'em. At this point, I'd rather see them fail then get a clue. Part of me thinks that they don't like to help out because they're too lazy (and cheap).

I bought all stainless brake and fuel lines fron Right Stuff for my Firebird plus some other stuff. They were very good people and it all fit. Shipping was right on! I'll buy from them again.

I'm on this board because I am helping restore a couple T/A's. I'm primarily an Olds nut and will verify what has been said LARGE NUMBER OF TIMES already....they have a terrible reputation among alot of the Olds nuts when it comes to dealing with problems a customer may be having.

All these lines are pretty much generic....so, like most sets sold, yours probably fit fine and that's it......end of story. Company made and sold you a great product.

The problems I repeatedly hear about Inline Tube relate to when the wrong part is sent, etc.....they seem to consistently not care about providing service when they ship a wrong, or ill-fitting part.

Also--don't worry---Inline doesn't have anything against Pontiac people. The owner is a huge OLDS NUT...and they have given a lot of OLDS PEOPLE crappy service.

Fine Lines is my choice. Thanks for this thread.

I've bought a few things from them over the last 2 years and quality has been top notch on everything rec'd. One shipment did include the wrong brake/fuel line clips, but that was quickly resolved in a professional manner and they sent the correct parts on their dime. I took some pictures of the original clips compared to the incorrect 1st shipment and sent via email. Once reviewed, Inline agreed that the original clips were correct for my application and they mistakingly sent the wrong pieces. Like I said, it was resolved quickly and I was satisfied with the customer service. I plan on putting a big order in the next few weeks to procure all the fasteners and parts for my VOE car...just my 2 cents.

Well I must weigh in here on the Inline Tube debate. Their Ebay site is called Motor City Muscle Car. They use to be called Kryta, for the owners last name. This guy tries to invent what is and is not correct on the 69 GTO to just make a sale. Look at his Ram Air cable block they are now offering on Ebay. The cables enter on the wrong side if compared with the original blocks. Yet they claim it is "perfect in every aspect" and label it as NOS when it is a repro part and not even a correct one at that.

It appears Inline's poor business practices have spread to Ebay.

That RA block is correct of 69's!

Please make sure your info is correct before posting negative comments.

Well then I guess the original on my 69 and the NOS piece I bought from GM in the 1970's is wrong because they don't look like the Ram Air block Motor City Muscle Car is selling!!!!!!

Yeah, I had some of the same "quality" customer service with A$$#0le Larry at Inline Tube. I called with a tech question and got nothing but attitude. I spent my money with Classic Tube and got great service and my tech question answered. Glad I only wasted my time with these jerks instead of my money.

So what I get from this entire thread is if you "know" the folks at Inline Tube, you get good service. The rest of us are screwed.

search through this forum, you'll find lots of stuff about their lack of customer service.

sweetjudge, proceed with caution on your order. you may be fine as there are a lot of people who had no issues with inline tube. or you may join the list of people with problems (very poor customer service, wrong products sent, general attitude from employees that they are right and you are wrong)

I recommend The Right Stuff. Inline Tube treated me poorly when I had a problem. I think the consensus is: Inline tube sells pretty good parts, but if you have a problem, they don't handle it right.

Yes search and find the other threads on Inline Tubes. Really guys there are plenty of other choices besides Inline to order your parts. My experience with Inline was terrible and I will never use them again.
