There are a few, restoration shops in my area that I have dealt with them in the past, providing the correct parts or laying out stripe tape for painted stripes, mainly on SS Chevelles and 69 Z28s. In talking with the owners of said shops, we have come to the conclusion that if the finished product is not worth over 100K to a potential buyer than it is not worth spending the money and time on the restoration. If the vehicle has sentimental value, then that is another story.
you are correct on that point. it will be the same amount of time and money to restored a firebird or a sd trans am 455 (which would be a lot) . So better to restore a high value car

Another feature of 1972 non-TA front fenders would be the 2 pin holes for the small bird emblem #485929, that year only.

Remove inner structure from four fenders and weld one pair was approximately eight hours. Pretty sure that included sandblasting the pieces before welding as well.

I was extremely pleased the Goodmark quarters. I have never seen or used repop front fenders. The 79-81 front fenders are too easy to find and modify vs make junk fit.
Do you have pics of your quarters at the rear lower area before install?
I may make a video about what Im talking about. I have used a couple Goodmarks and both were unfinished at rear. I do know about the filler piece, and have saved em all. Only one parts car left that has 'em.
Thanks, FB
