Stuff I found on the "A" pillar

When I disassembled the convertible I pulled off the old parchment color cover that was on the "A" pillar.

The questions are:

did anyone replace theirs or just painted the pillar and left it alone?
or did you replace it with left over fabric to match the door panels and visors?
