Calculators
Any RPM calculators out there...I can find several for a 4x4, but have not found anything for RWD.

There are tons of RPM calculators on the web. Just type "RPM calculator" into Google. Two wheel drive, four wheel drive, eight wheel drive or one wheel drive, makes no difference.

This one is the best, plug in your tranny and tire size, but it only works if you know what transfer case you have (4x4 only I guess)
http://www.grimmjeeper.com/gears.html I'm not that computer literate, but couldn't this be modified to figure out something for us? Wayne S |

That one is ok if you know your final gear and the tire diameter, but what if you want to try different tires, trannys and don't have the information on hand.
Grimm's is nice because you can run two side by side with different tires or trannys or gears and see the difference between what you have and what you may achieve. I guess I want my cake and eat it too Wayne S |
