Default Center motor mount bolts '69 GP

I have misplaced my center bolts that go from the frame to the engine mounts. Anyone have a pic or know what they look like? I don't see them in resto books to get new ones.

Thanks
Greg

Thought someone restoring their '59 GP could post a pic of what the bolts looked like.Been too long for me to remember.

Yes, fine thread. Mine have two flat washers and the ones against the frame have teeth.

What headers are you running GPFreak? Are they modified GTO?

They're Hedman's, one tube on the driver side was flattened a little to clear the porportioning valve and you have to leave the coulmn lock linkage out, but they fit good otherwise, they were on the car when I got it. I think Hedman lists them for these cars.

I might have the same headers but mine are Hedman huslers. I sprayed them with POR-15 high heat paint. That's what I am in the process of doing. Getting them to fit. Thanks

Thumbs up

Nice... yours looks WAY more serious than mine, mine's just a spare part 455 I threw together to get her back as a driver, the matching number 400 sits in the corner for later.

Your's looks great and it's a 455 torquer engine. I bet you will have fun with it. It's a Pontiac! Mine is just a '67 YH 428/440 with ported 6x4 heads. It has KB forged pistons, h-beam rods and roller cam. Here's a pic of the bottom end. I could re-assemble the numbers matching XF 428 in the pic below if need be. It's a dummy block now to mock up the March pulley sytstem for the '72 Formula 461.

to be 100% honest, of all the different v8s out there ( big block chevs, small blocks ford windsors, clevos, flatheads, holden v8s, chrysler v8s etc ) the Pontiac v8s would have the be the greatest looking v8 engine of all time!, and with the beautiful color they were painted in really backs it up!

love these images!

bit curious with the 4 bolt main setup, ive got 2 400 blocks with what looks to be a 4 bolt setup ? but ive only got 2 bolt main caps ??

Some were drilled for 4-bolt mains but recieved 2-bolt caps ..as far as I know. I DO KNOW, if you fix it right, you get years of pleasure from the Pontiac engine.

My 428 has the 4 bolts, windage try, oil deflectors, #62 heads, domed pistons and the transfer lug on the back of the block.
