Tire Pressure
Newby here...I have 9.5"x27" slicks on my 63 SD Tempest. What tire pressure is typically used for this size tire?

Start with 16 psi. You have a medium weight car. You gain approximately 1 psi during your burn out from the heat. If you have spining problems check into your shock settings first before changing your pressure. 90/10 front and 50/50 is the basic shock set up.

At about the same weight, my Bird works well at 12psi! But start higher and work your way down if possible because the more air you run the more stable it will be at speed! Good Luck.
