Default name this holley part

Putting a kit in a Holley. I've had a few apart and I know what most of the stuff in the kit is, but I don't recall seeing one of these before. What is it and what does it do?

Ok cool. Carb is an 870 street avenger, I did the primary side already and didn't see anything like this piece in there. Maybe it's a kit that fits some other carbs as well.

Part Number from Holley is a 52R-88 and the part is a "Fuel Transfer Tube".
It was used on a lot of Spread Bore Holleys, in the old days, not so much on the
Square Bore Holley carbs. That part number is actually for the Tube and two O-Rings.

You said it was a Street Avenger carb and I quit paying attention to those carbs years ago.

Yeah one of these days I'll pick some old double pumpers up on craigslist and mess around. For now, this is on the shelf and looks to be in good shape, so I'm gonna give it a shot.
