Prayers for you both. Double-mask around your house and keep your distance, you may not get it. All you can do is try and stay healthy for her. PLEASE Keep us updated.

Prayers going up for both of you. I just went through it in our house. My 36 yo daughter got sick the first Sunday of this year. She lives in the house with me and due to my son's family living here too she had been living in the formal living room since March. There was no way we could close her room off other than the cloth curtains she had up. Everyone else in the house stayed away and she made sure she was masked up if she had to go to the restroom or kitchen.

I was sure I would get it as I had been close to her for the three days prior, and I had to take her to the ER, but I didn't get it and no one else in the house got it.

She was pretty sick for about 4 days and then gradually got better. By the end of the 14 day quarantine she was fine.

If you stay away and make sure she masked up then you should be fine. I'll keep you in my prayers!

The doctor had her come into the ER for blood work, and chest X ray tonight. New cough medicine, and an inhaler from the pharmacy tonight also. She is really feeling it, and is weak. Hopefully it will turn around in a day or so.

Tonight my throat is just a tiny bit sore, I hope it isn't beginning to get ahold of me too. Been doing masks and distancing, separate rooms, but there's no guarantee I didn't contact it before she took the test. She was feeling like she had a cold for almost 3 days before she went to take the test. We don't need both of us sick at the same time.

I want to thank everyone who has responded, with advice, and prayers.

My wife is resting today, she says she feels about the same as yesterday, so at least no worse today. Everyday up till now she said she was feeling worse each day. Eating and rest are what helps that I've heard thus far.

I'm still feeling fine, keeping distance washing hands, masks when we are out of the bedrooms. I'm taking Zinc lozenges about 8 times a day. Evidently vitamins C and D, and Zinc ward it off, and also contribute towards recovery. I'm doing all of the above, as is my wife. She has for the most part lost her sense of smell and taste, mine is still intact.

I want to thank everyone again for the prayers, it seems to be helping.

Happy to hear about the good lab results. Keeping lungs clear is very important as you know. Lots of prayers and good wishes on the forum for you and your wife. I have had many friends and colleagues infected with this virus. The vast majority have pulled through with lots of rest, meds, and time. Don't be surprised if it takes several weeks for her to really feel herself again. Hang in there.

Thank all for the prayers, we may be turning the corner from what I'm seeing.

My wife has had mild progression each day, still has the horrible cough, even with cough syrup and inhaler. At least she is resting and not getting worse each day. So far I have no full blown symptoms, but with asthma I have respiratory signs daily, same as always.

She is really easy to exhaust, just mild exertion will put her sitting down in a chair in a minute or two. Like walking from one end of the house to the other. She still has an appetite, which is a good thing, many people quit eating during this virus, that just makes them go downhill from lack of nutrition.

Even though she has had some pretty severe symptoms, I feel they are lessening a little each day.

The power of prayer is strong!!! Thanks to all that have participated, in any way...........

Looks like the docs, meds and prayers have done their job. My wife still has a hacking cough, but it has diminished. I believe she's out of the woods as far as beating the covid.

She lost her sense of smell and taste, but that will probably return in time. I may have contacted it too, but since I started the zinc regime, as well as well as vitamins C and D mine was pretty minor compared to hers. I seemed to have lost my sense of smell too. My symptoms were minor compared to hers. A few more days in quarantine, and we'll be back in service, maybe not at 100%, but I'm sure we'll be fine. I've also noticed in the evenings I get chilled like before bed I feel chilled. Wife says he has the same symptoms in the evenings.

Thanks to all that responded with prayers and well wishes, I appreciate everything from the PY family............
