Default How to measure for oversized timing chain

I thought I asked this before but couldn't find it in the archives. Anyway, I know Simms sells oversized Timing chain sets for blocks that have been lined honed.

How exactly does a person measure the centerlines between the crank and cam to know if they need one?

Next question what is the factory Centerline distance between the cam and Crank?
