pushrod checker
Do I need to swap out to a light spring to use a pushrod checker?
What length would I want for testing a Roller lifter setup 7.800 to 8.800? https://www.amazon.com/Competition-C...73&sr=8-1&th=1 |

Depends on the method you intend to use to verify pushrod length.
Some mark the valve tip with marker and rotate the engine, an adjustable pushrod checker will likely damage from regular spring pressure. Using the Straub method you would be fine, there is no strain on the checker. Get Jesel. https://www.summitracing.com/search/...checking-tools Last edited by pastry_chef; 06-26-2021 at 09:54 PM. |

I'm not familiar with the Staub method. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=o5is9BsH5OU I assume your referring to this? That is pretty cool. |
