Now that you mention it, we have one on our 75 vette. I pulled all the smog equipment off but never removed that shield cause I didn't know what it was for. Our radio also doesn't work therefore I wouldn't notice any difference either way.

Is the shield something that would be important in an auto show??????? If exact decal placement, and correct hose clamps count, seems that the shield would be an item to consider as well.
