Default Kawasaki Mule

Don't know anything about them but really want a side by side 4 wheeler. Found a 1999 with only 250 hrs, has cab, heater, snowplow(really want that!), etc. Are they a good rig ?? 617 water cooled, guy wants $8500

Thats a lot of hours. I heard to steer clear of s/s over 300 hrs. Optioned nice and as you say they aren't cheap.

We have a Polaris Ranger and love it, no plow or goodies. I also heard plows alone are 2K? Cab, heater has to be at least worth 1k.

But, being in Mn the land of Polaris? Built in USA.....

Polaris Rangers are now "hecho mexico". They closed their engine plant too. As far as the hours, there is one on a local auction site with 1500 hrs, same drivetrain but 4 years newer, 2003. The 1999 looks like brand new. Was hoping someone had one or knew of one and had an opinion as to their long term performance.

Not what the website leads you to believe. Haha. Then the Mule looks like a sweet deal for that price and options.

I'm going by friends dealership tomorrow out of town.

I'll ask your questions....get a dealers perspective.

*I've got a set of doors I had installed with a factory hardtop for a Ranger Browning edition 700 I will sell if anyone's interested.

Took them off after first first season.

PM me if interested.

man , just get a old small jeep that has most every thing rebuilt and put a snowplow on the front, should run less than 8500$ ,and good resale value too,put 200 more hours on that that 99 Kawasuky and your stuck with it, resale value plummets.it will make a better front lawn decoration than the jeep though.

Went by friends dealership near NC/VA line and Kerr/Gaston Lake...mentioned price and deal....basically what you probably have found out...overpriced.

He gave me some numbers for the Mule, but without knowing the installed equipment and age/condition...no sense posting.

BTY, Hes building a 12,500 sq ft addition on showroom and one of the largest dealers East of Mississippi...many makes of water and road.

His business has picked up noticeably...anyone looking for something...PM me.

Selling a lot of these three wheelers...senior citizen crowd buying them too....few other toys for viewing pleasure.

Thx for the followup. Came to the same conclusion, nice rig but over priced. May make an offer, exactly what I want, and if I could get it for $6500 would make the deal. Very kind of you to make the inquires, thx again.
