'74 manual tranny question...
have a '74 LeMans with a factory 4-speed(but not original tranny)...anyone know which transmission was OEM for this car??...muncie, saginaw???...thx!!!(car has a 350-4bbl)

The factory service manual says the 350 engines got the Saginaw. The 400 and 455 engines got the Muncie. Jim

Thanks for the kind words. I am not going all out on my car as it will be a driver. Just trying to improve a little on the factory build quality. Here is a pic just after I got it home from the body shop. Jim

The '74 350/4 speed my friend and I parted out had a Saginaw.
