Default Ever see a steering stabilizer on a 2nd gen?

Well, now you have! It's on this 71 bird I picked up. It has some funky touches to it, including this stabilizer. It's definitely a 1st for me. Looks like something off an old square body.

I can get better pics of it when I get it on the lift. I wonder what else this car is hiding?

Back then they where sold by Monroe and one other shock brand that I can’t recall.

A lot of owners got talked into putting one on when getting new tires installed and a alinement done with the promise of longer tread life.

Nope, it's a power steering car.
