Thanks again for your reports and pics Mcronk !

Looks like his 78 Bandit did 87k hammer, along with your report of his 77 Bandit 100k hammer.
This trend has completely blown my mind past several years.

71 TA White/Black Auto with SR block and full frame off done rather well hammered at 70k last Saturday. !

Can't be for sure from your pics, but looks like they have done some interior work in some wrong shades of the Atoll Blue Ram4 Judge survivor. Pretty magnificent it still has nice original paint.
Or mostly predominant original if it has been blended in the low areas.

Combed through all the T'A's on the site, fixing to comb the GTO's
Don't remember a 70 OO Judge Vert with Black Top and Interior being listed before.
But see it parked next to the Atoll Ram4 survivor in your pics.

What a Gathering !!

Someone else swapped out those manifolds on ol Blue.
The restorer re-used the originals. For Sure.
Even the driver side heat shield was still in place on the car when he got it !
And that went back on too.
He was adamant about specific 68 Ram2 engine details ..... and everything was there.

Either a subsequent owner allowed them to be repurposed before they sold it, or they wanted brand new pit free re-pops. Probably got talked into a swap for repurposing to another car.
My best guess , nothing else would make the right sense on a car that was so correct.

Wow !
Has the Buildsheet and was a basic YS Auto AC car.
Has a lot of extra bells and whistles added and a really nice restoration.
It still retains the Automatic as pictured, with add-on RamAir
That is Bionic Money for the vehicle

Bunch of other GTO's today , and majority did well to really well.
Tomorrow is a full buffet of top shelfers.
10 RamAir IV cars tomorrow

I cannot find the OO Blk Top & Int Jvert listed - that is pictured next to the 70 Atoll Ram4 survivor.

EDIT : why did I have the saddle interior , gold top OO Ram4 Jvert in my head as being the one at this event. ?
The car I was trying to "find" parked next to Atoll Judge -- is the OO Ram4 Jvert from Cocoma Collection.
That's been publicized EVERYWHERE for months
dammmm what a blunder !!

The lighting was very different for the Sandalwood interior shots. One was indoors under flourescent lighting. The other two were outdoors under tents.
I have 3 different cars with Sandalwood interiors. One looks way to bright. The other two look similar. Matching factory colors is very difficult these days. Paint stores and materials have changed a lot. Fifty plus year old interiors fade/gas out. Moisture stains the vinyl, etc. Here are the 3 pictures for review. First is 71 455 HO, second is 70 Mint Turquoise, and last is survivor 70 Judge.

It was confusing how the information on the 70 Palladium was presented. It said with RA III equipment. It did not say it was a RA III. It did not say the equipment was added either. Sneaky. In my opinion the paint job on the color sealed the deal. One of the most mirror like. However when I went over it with my body gauge there is a reason it is so smooth. Several of the 303 detailing guys asked what I was using to inspect the paint. They said of all the people they see I was only the second one they had seen doing that.

Here is a buildsheet I came across that had something I have not seen before. You guys probably know more about decoding these than I do. It was for a 70 GTO 455 RA Cardinal Red convertible with Red interior. What do the notes in the columns refer too? Interesting it came with wire wheel covers.

Dont forget that some of the buying and selling is from people just needing to move the money. and its not from Wall Street.

Mcronk you may not see this in time , but if you do , please get a picture of the trim tag or make note of the build date on tag.
This is the invoice , but their placard says they have Buildsheet too -- if you can get a picture of that.
It will tell its first purpose.

Its a multi-invoice car that was ordered within PMD for use within PMD.
There would have been other invoice(s) as well.
The most interesting thing I see on the invoice is its exit code is 35-998 ,
usually these from the motherland used 35-997 as exit code.
35-998 was the designation for Engineering Dept.
This car possibly has several invoice copies for multiple duties within the camp.

It is much rarer than the 1 of 241 they have listed.
241 is the number for all 455 RamAir AUTOMATIC cars hardtop & convertible total.
We know of about maybe a dozen convertibles.

I think also 241 , or similar smallish amount was also number of 455 HO convertibles
But that doesn't apply to how many had RamAir - maybe 10% of that number.

Its Friday the 13th !
A lucky day for Pontiac buyers with high income.

Will the 69 Liberty Blue GTO Ram4 4spd outnumber ol Blue ??
Will the 70 Atoll Blue GTO Ram4 4spd be able to outnumber ol Blue ??
Its the battle for the Blue Ribbon !

Will the Ram4 OO Jvert hit a million ?

Can KingKong Blk/Blk 70 Ram4 Judge out-muscle the Psycho OrbitO 70 Ram4 Judge ?

These answers and more, on the nightly news

70 Mint and 71 did good on the carpet color. Judge is way off on carpet.

The 71 is the closest to faithful overall.

Its not an easy interior
And a lot of times they reflect owners preferences more so than nailing correctness,
I've had 2 original interior Sandalwood 70's - I don't care for it at all unless maybe its a 70 Black car.

You definitely can’t take what they say about the cars coming across the block as the gospel they definitely miss speak a lot. Smart guys but not always correctly informed.

F70 has crossed the block and updated on the site,
F80 has not
If that helps on the timing

The Blue 70 Ram4 Jvert goes across tomorrow
The last IV car in the line up

13 total IV A-Body
1 IV F-Body
1 Deuce II A-Body

F85 has crossed and updated
F90 has not

Idunno the amount of lag between actually crossing - to actually updating on site.
Not too loose I guess

I know of a rough Cardinal Red 70 GTO 455HO 4 speed car with ram air. It has been sitting since the 80’s. As far as value is concerned, would you say it’s worth more or less than a RA3 car?

Same for same , edge goes to the 455 RA car. That is personal opinion.
Market can go either way, but its very comparable.
Unless we get into comparable Ram3 Judge vs 455 RA Judge - which we probably never will again.
