Installing emblems
ON my 64 GTO is there any way possible that I can install the emblems that go on the bottom of the front fenders without removing the fender. I don't see any way to get up behind them to tighten the nuts. I am thinking that I may have to put some paint directly behind them, install the emblems and finally bolt the fender back on and mask off the emblem and spray around it.
Thanks Jeff

A body supply place will have little clips that you put in the hole then push the emblem on

I used a 3M emblem adhesive to install mine. Put some around each stud and when dry they are rock solid.

Like Mike said, barrel nuts. But if it's new, be sure to thread the studs with a correct speed nut. The thread cuts help the barrel clips grip better.
