Default Crank ??'s

I have found what appears to be a deal for some crankshafts. Two Crankshaft for $100 is this a fair price ???? I dont need them but wouldnt mind sitting on them for the future.

496453...... {73-76}455
9773524......{67-68}400

Both in good condition

Second part of the question, what is an average machine cost to have a crank checked, cleaned & balanced.

thanks as always for the info.

Very good price, if they have not been turned undersize yet and are not cracked.

Last invoice I have shows $149 for checking and grinding crank next undersize. Crank is balanced to pistons, rods, rings and bearings - so that would come after accumulating all the parts just before the build starts. Last balance cost $155.

The 524 is a good armastell crank, I hope its checks out as not being cracked for you, but first and formost, make sure they have not been cut more than 10/10 already and write up a sale bill that lets you return eitheir if it fails the Mag test!
