Default That's a pricey sign

I wanted it, but I was thinking $3k-$5k. I was wrong.

A ton of that stuff is faked. If you look on EBay right now, you’ll see that thousands of “NOS” porcelain signs are in... India?

Not saying that’s fake, but it would make me less optimistic about its future value.

I watched Some of the live feed of the auction yesterday.
The prices were thru the roof on neon and porcelain signs. The gas pumps were crazy as well.It will be interesting to see what his gun collection brings.

I saw one of these signs before it was restored Locally. A Lot was replaced, Its Huge and heavy. I think they did lithograph vs fixing the ceramic. there was thousands spent on the restoration. All the neon had to be re-blown glass, by hand. I could see the cost getting right up there

It's been talked all around the price, but no one ever stated what it was. Just like JG, I didn't want to create a account just to find out what the price is/was.

From the banter, I was guessing $40-$50,000.........

It sold for $27,140. I assume there is a 10% buyers premium on top of that.

I think when they give the final price it usually includes the premium. Not a 100% sure on that.

Oh well, if that's the case, it was a bargain!
