Default 1970 Firebird Seat Foam

Hello, does anyone have any experience with the '70 seat foam being sold by Classic? Can PY obtain this product? Does ACI (American Cushion industries) have any plans to manufacture foam for this application? Thanks!

Hi,
We do carry American Cushion seat foams but in this case for the 70 cars they do not yet make them. So we do get them from a company called Arizona GM Classics and they offer the foam for the standard and deluxe seats. PY part # for the standard ones is RFI59A and for the deluxe it is RFI59B.

Do you have any reports of quality of the parts? Price? I could not find any reference to them in the online or print catalog. Thanks in advance!!

Quality seems to be good on them, we have not come across any issues with them so far to date and we have carried them for several years. RFI59A(standard) are $99.00 per seat and RFI59B(deluxe) are $115.00 per seat.

Thank you for the quick response, I will be purchasing this product when I reach that point in the resto, which should be soon.

I had some foam replaced on our SUV and it was some new type of foam that is better than stock foam because it holds up better and where I had it replaced was the area where one gets in the part also did the same in our other same SUV so im going to have it done as well they even used the same fabric that was on the seat. I hope this helps you out.
