Default 1965 GTO Tubular Control Arms

Hey Guys,

Has anyone installed these tubular control arms on their car? If yes, what size lower front shock bolts did you use? The originals go in for a couple of turns and then get tight. Any help is appreciated. Thanks.

I'd guess the new bolts need to be metric.

Thanks. I tried 8mm & 5/16-24 thread bolts and no luck. I decided to try a 5/16-18 on the other side and was able to thread it in by hand. I have a feeling some powder coating got into the nutserts and that's causing the issue.
