need trans builder in chi area
need to get my 400 rebuilt. can anyone recommend a reputable within a few hours from chicago? thanks

TRS Transmissions in Orland Park. The owner (Don) is a Pontiac guy and has two GTO's. They do a lot of classic car work there.

Norm,
Do you know if TRS also does other mechanical work? I am in need of getting a bunch of oil leaks fixed(including that dreaded rear main) and don't have the time to address them myself. I am looking for someone trustworthy, who knows what they are doing, on the south side to handle these mechanical issues. If you know of anybody in the area please let me know. Thanks Jim |
