I watched it tonight as well. It was very informative and I liked the video scenes. I didnt watch the McCain show as I had seen it before and it was a little too much for me to watch how they treated the prisoners. We should have bombed them with the A bomb when we had the chance.

As I've read.... if we hadn't turned our back on N. Vietnam and left when we did, one week more and they'd have surrendered.

One more reason why I hate Comcast. They took Nat Geo Graphic away from us and made it an extra pay-for channel.

Unhappy Thanks for the tip...

Very interesting documentary. I was quite stricken by the gentleman in the last part of the program who was at The Wall and said he looked up and felt guilty because his name wasn't there. I had that exact same experience. Like him, I had a lot of buddies whose names were there, and mine wasn't, and like him, I reflected that it wasn't really fair.

Also touching was how they rejoiced at seeing their "freedom bird." Exact same feelings here, and also the same surreal feelings at returning to The World, where normalcy dominated.

Anyone else have my experience? I came home, greeted everybody for a couple of hours, and then slept for 28 straight hours.

Yea, we all get some kind of somber mood when visiting the wall. I rode out of Ft Dix on 7/17/68, stopped in the gas station (which is still there) rest room and changed clothes. Great feeling returning to the World.
