Blueing Chrome bumper?
So my rear bumper likes to haze and has a slight blueishness to it after driving my car (lets say 30 miles).
A good chrome polish fixes it, but what can I do so I don't have a polish it every time I drive my car? |

My tips are in the stock location with stock tips. I would assume if it was running rich the insides of the of tips would be black and mine are nice and clean ...
it looks like I'll just be getting use to polishing it .... |

I would talk to some motorcycle guys, people have been fighting chrome headers bluing all the time. Maybe some polishes hold up better than others to the heat and fumes of exhaust?

Been a bike guy all my life and just got into cars. Bluing on motorcycle exhaust is caused by the carbs being a bit too rich (high heat). I use a product called "blue off" to clean those up. I never use chrome polish since it is an abrasive, I only use Windex. If I had a bumper that had a haze and blueishness my first thought would be a bad chrome job, it takes a heck of a lot of heat to cause chrome to blue.
