Default Valve spring choice

For guys with higher lift cam profiles and lift range around 800 net, what brand valve springs are best. PAC, Comp,??. I had a set of PSI springs that didn't last. 25 passes and they lost 60lbs on the seat. No coil bind issues. Cam profile was not too crazy. Duration 276in 284ex. At the cost of springs these days,I would like your input on a Quality Valve spring. We put in PAC Triples recently. See how these work.

Wonder if you got a bad batch? I ran PSI triples with slightly more duration and lift set up at 2.0 with no issues. Pac is good stuff as is Manley like Paul suggested

Default Manley Nextek Springs

Unless I'M mistaken, PAC makes the Manley Nextek Springs. I've used both with good results.

I have had really good results with PAC, Ferrea, and Erson springs in the tripple, high seat pressure applications. 350-450 lb. seat pressures. I have a few sets, both new and used available in those pressure ranges if interested. 1.677 OD. PM me if interested.

Thumbs up

I use a 1.645" diameter spring. See how these PAC's hold up. Thanks for the Input Guys. Should be able to get 125-150 passes out of these.

Have you ever sent a set out to be cryogenic treated before using them, as it can't hurt in terms of life expectancy.
