HOOOO-RAH! Hopefully they will look & fit good! I see the Parts Place has these on ebay for $385.00 each. Usually the repro sheetmetal stuff have their share of problems but then again the hoods for the 68-70 are decent. Maybe now the price of the used, rusted, dented & bent 70 GTO fenders that are out there won't be so sky high anymore.

Here are the fenders from Ebay.

Guess I should have sold my extra set when I had the chance.

Hopefully repaired originals will still pull more money than the reproduction stuff.

I think the used original fenders should still bring more than repros do as long as they are in good condition/repaired properly. Although the quality of the repros will influence that also. Used fenders that need excessive repairs should drop well below the price of repros.

don't they have issues where the side marker lights go? I heard they need some reworking in the side marker area. ANd I heard the fit is questionable. Original equipment has always been the way to go no matter what car you own. I would have to really think about 385 + freight for a repro. I know originals are expensive but when you put a high dollar paint job on top of them and they still don't fit right the extra money would have been well spent on original fenders. I'll be keeping an extra set of originals for my GTO.
Just my two cents

Well, I received a pair today. JJG is correct about the marker on the RH (passenger side), it looks like it's going to need work (maybe lots of work). LH looks like it may be OK. LH was missing a hole for the wheelwell molding and both will probably need new holes drilled anyways. Might be issues on both fenders' rear molding also. I will hopefully be posting pictures, most likely tomorrow, and will try to trial fit this weekend. JJG, why would someone put a high dollar paint job on something without knowing the panels fit properly, in the first place?

I do not know why they would do that? But people do and it looks terrble. It just does not make sense why with todays technology we can not make accurate reproduction fenders? JJG

RH, number 2. How much more would it have cost to add the hole for the inner fenderwell?

LH, number 2. Again, how much more would it have cost to put in the inner fenderwell bolt hole?
