66 gto trans mount
Yeah, i know bad pics, but im assuming this isnt a pontiac trans mount...........i bought a tkx 5 speed, and they said no solid mounts to the crossmember, which mine are..........im assuming this is a chevy mount since i have a chevy muncie in the car.........lol, you listen to the hype on these transmissons, can shift at 7 thou plus.............but dont mount them to the car, will break...........wow

You're overreacting, they don't care how your crossmember is mounted. HTH. https://www.moroso.com/solid-transmission-mount62600/ |

Thanks for the reply...........i will reread those instructions again, but this is what they sent in the kit, im trying to figure out if this is a pontiac cross member, i dont have those Insulators attatched to the end of mine...........not sure i could slip these on or not with what i have...............the pic in the ames book, that crossmember looks quite a bit different that mine. Not sure if i should just get a pontiac one and be done with it, or use mine.

Just use the crossmember you already have. Stop worrying about the sides, the only mount that matters is in the middle of the car, between the transmission and crossmember.
