Default Choosing Trans brakes

I am going to build a new trans for the race car. Wondering if anyone knows the difference between a pro trans brake and regular trans brake? I think the pro is faster. Going with one that allows me to launch in 1st or 2nd, I am looking at ATI wicked quick billet trans brake. Anyone using this? I really wanted one that has regular reverse so i don't have to push a button but can't find one with 2nd gear launch.
Hoping to soften the launch for my 10.0 index races.
Old trans is a old cast cheeta brake with external solenoid.

Extreme Auto looks like nice stuff. 750ish $, billet too, not cheap but you get some extra parts with their kits. Looks like the heavy direct springs like you get with a Trans Go kit.
But not in stock. It requires a aluminum direct drum.
They have the internal solenoid so if it goes put you have to drop your pan.
Very nice unit. You can change the pattern by changing manual valves for no cost.

I run this brake, JW cast aluminum unit. External solenoid, mine went out at the track once and I was able to put a spare right on. Clean neutral and you can take off in 2nd if you like.
Has the heavy spring kit too. Its been awhile since I put it in but I don't think I put the direct springs and pump spring in as the trans already had that stuff in it from Trans Go.

553$ Right now I have a modified stock direct drum so it will work with stock stuff . But have a aluminum 1st and direct drums that will go in when I freshen trans.
