Default Radio conversation

I'm having the original am radio converted by Gary tanway for my 70 gto. The pioneer radio I put in in 1987 finally pooched. I remember cringing as I did it but cut the divider out between the dial face and the pushbuttons. I put a thread in the wanted page but I don't know how much exposure it gets. I'd like to find that piece and glue it in there the best I can before the radio comes back. I bought the chrome paint stick they sell for the dash edges. So if anyone has a hacked up dash and wouldn't mind cutting out that piece i would be willing to buy it.Thanks

Frank's doesn't have any unrestoreable dashs where they could take that piece from. 70 -72 are alike so somebody has to have one.

So where did you get the chrome paint stick? Never knew that existed. I could use one ( or a few)

Search Amazon for Chrome Paint Marker. I just did this dash with the Amazon pen. The photo lighting doesn't show the chrome effect very well, but it is very good. Almost as good as OEM.

Thanks! I’ll check that out. My LeMans dash is about 90% plastic 10% chrome Like I said, I may need a few.

There is a paint process for modelers that makes a nice polishes stainless steel look.
This would be more durable then a marker I would think.
