Default Obit for John Grivins (unfortunately late)

Grivins, who founded U.S. 131 Motorsports Park – also commonly referred to as Martin Dragway - passed away Friday, Jan. 28, 2022.
Mr. Grivins opened the facility in 1962 and continued to operate it until he sold it to Canadian businessman Alec Pinsonneault in 2000.

Grivens was a force in Drag Racing Track ownership. He will be missed.

RIP John

Tom V.

US-131 was my "week-end" track experience many years ago.

Grivins was a great guy. Knew how to bring the people in. Ran there a quite a few times. My dad raced there in the early 70's in Pro Stock and Super Stock.
