I have an Auto Meter fuel pressure gauge that has the isolator on it so I can run the gauge into the car. Is anyone using this gauge and how did you mount the isolator. I was just wondering if it is to be mount vertical or horizontal?

Most guys mount them vertically. The pressure is enough that it doesn't matter. Ed

SB,I have installed several of these units in various cars,The isolators are usually mounted vertically due to the angle of the fuel line entering the guage.Be very careful when you hook the isolator up on the guage side that you do not loose the oil that is contained in the line and guage.These work very well.good luck

I use one in my Tempest racecar. It is mounted close to the regulator on the right front down tube of the roll cage. If you loose the internal fluid, replace it with antifreeze.

I've been using that gauge and isolater for years. It's been very reliable. I mounted mine on the firewall. NHRA rules require fuel lines be 6" off the firewall. I got busted at tech once so I fabricated a stand off bracket that puts the fuel line at the required 6".
