OK, here ya go. I picked up a set of new old stock M/T aluminum rods. They say Harvey Aluminum on the side beam. Now the good part. How much abuse will they take? Will the hold up to the Pontiac Dude stress test? 400/428 or 455? How much HP and rpm's? Or just use them in a "Slammer spare job". These are stock length and brg sizes.

Harvey Aluminum is no more. They were located in Carson, CA and closed their doors somewhere between 1985-1988. They were a sales account for me when they were open for business. It was a bummer when they closed as they were a good account for me.

Regards,

Ron

Aren't they pretty heavy for alum rods? I saw one hanging above the sink at my "west coast engine builder's" house. If I remember correctly he told me they weren't good for much. To much beer to remember his exact words though...
