OK, I've got all the body bolts out and am ready to lift the body off the frame.
I have two options as far as lifting the body. 1) straps and a bucket lift on our tractor or; 2) jacks and 4x6 lumber. I'm considering using the jacks instead of the tractor cause manevering the tractor around in the garage is not going to be easy. any do's and don'ts? what is the best location to place the jack as not to damage the body? Ken, I think I remember you saying you used a lift. Is that correct? |

Got a 2x6 or 2x8 a couple feet long? That'll spread the load at the jack enough to lift it to put blocks under.
