Default Gem or Boat Anchor

Question...I have what I think is a correct '65 Norris Technology steel wheel that is in great shape except:

There is a small flat spot near the bead that measures 1 1/2" long and is 1/32" deep in the center. Will this defect impact the ability of the tire to hold pressure?

Thanks! Bill

Air is held in by the side of the bead not the top. There should be no problem.
