He was already well qualified so he let it rip.....He was looking for a .20 something but the air just wasn't there....

Good Luck in the final Johnny!

I'm glad he didn't hurt anything in the early round with the wheelstand.

Good luck John!

John got runner up in the 8.50 class. Great job John. Way to show them what a Pontiac will do.

I think it was a 59 to a 54.

But they did keep pushing the "NA ALL PONTIAC" power...

I love this line about John's 3rd qualifing pass on YB!

Mike Eames 8.74 @ 158
John Langer 8.35 @ 157

Langer takes the all motor Pontiac all the way to the next county as he puts up a stout number while Eames did a nice wheelie and hangs on to it

The car was sub 1.25 60' all day long. In the finals I knocked the tires off the car and was trying to run Joe down in the finals but it wasn't in the cards. I will say it was driver error on the .35 pass. If you look at the video the brake lights were on way early. It possibly could have been a high 20 pass but I got greedy and make a tuning call mistake. The air was 1500' on the .35 pass. The car is responding real well to tuning changes I make. I have 25 runs on these head gaskets and the car gets faster every time I take it out.

Good to hear John. With all the money you are saving on head gaskets I am going to buy stock in a beer company. What is your brand again.
