Looked at a 1973 Grand Am For Sale last week up close and it had the 1973 Tail-lights and the 1974-75 Nose that had all of the correct parts (yes - the nose was succumbing to the elements in the usual way). Is this a transition 73 to 74 Grand Am? BTW: It was one of the silver painted Grand Ams...all of the parts appeared to be factory installed. Car is rough...so if it's bogus I'll pass. Thanks for any input.

I'm gonna guess somebody threw on a '74 nose to replace their badly deteriorated original.
Don't write it off just from the wrong nose. If the rest of the car is nice you can find the bumper and valance pretty easily and InDesign repros the nose and parking light buckets.

Where are you located? It might be worth picking it up if the price is right, if its too rough you could always sell parts. There is a fair demand for parts now that they are not in the junkyards anymore and the aftermarket hasn't offered much yet. I just found a real rough '73 that the owner is letting me take what I want for cheap before he junks it, in case you don't have room for a parts car, that is another option.
